Kelsi Dagger Handbags: Cute + Affordable!

R-L: 1. Toni Tote 2. Cameron Convertible Shoulder 3. Carter Tophandle

The happy medium between an uber-luxe designer dream bag and a plasticky fake leather Target number can be really difficult to find. I was on a quest for such a thing for a while – a mid-sized shoulder bag that was utilitarian, but not ugly or cheap-looking…and not over-embellished! (Side note: why must so many handbags and ballet flats be over-embellished to high heaven??)

I ended up finding a Kelsi Dagger bag on Gilt and have been super happy with it! It’s really nice, soft black leather with a medium amount of embellishments – some studs on the strap, a tan suede stripe, and a chunky gold zipper pull – and it’s a great size with the right length of strap!

KD bags run from about $99 – $300 and there are often deals to be had on the flash sale sites. If you’re looking for a mid-level, erryday bag, they’re a great choice.
