Thank G-d that Joseph Papp’s musical adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, starring Meryl Streep (and her cheekbones), became a made for TV movie in 1982 called Alice at the Palace. Without that, we would never have this magical footage of La Meryl tripping on shrooms and being all-around amazing. “And wait, is that Cousin Larry?”, you might ask. Yes. Yes, it is.
