Ladies, it’s that time of the year again! The American Kennel Club’s heading its way to New York City with its annual Meet the Breeds showcase. A couple of Power Animals checked out the show last year, and came back with pictures of some of the most adorable puppies around. I mean really, who can resist petting and posing with a baby Brussels Griffin? The show is not only a showcase for the 160 (!) dog and 50 cat breeds recognized by the AKC, but also for what they’re capable of doing. That means agility courses and frisbee catching seminars for anyone who wants to keep their pup from being bored at home. I’m determined to make it out there this year, but please don’t tell Steve, who lives in constant fear of being surprised with a new puppy at home.
The show’s up for only two days, November 19th-20th at the Javits Center. Tickets are for sale on the AKC site for $12 each, a small price to pay to play with puppies.
