While the days are still warm, but the nights start to cool, my mind wanders to what’s in my closet to get me through the pre-fall weather. Jeans and t-shirts are a staple, as always, but sometimes you want to go girly and dress-y. I’ve been eyeing maxis all summer long, but I just haven’t managed to pull the trigger. Maybe it’s the heat, maybe it’s my annoyance at having to take the thing to a tailor, I don’t know.
Dolce Vita’s gorgeous Wynne Dress in blue is the perfect solution. It’s officially a “midi” dress, but I’m sure that on my figure it’ll hit a little longer down the calf, and qualify as long enough for me to feel like I’m wearing a full-length skirt. The sheer fabric is an added boon, making lighter a look that could, if too fabric-y, overwhelm a small frame. Now all I need is to pair the look with a simple camisole and a cute pair of heels. Simple transition-weather dressing that French would do.
Check out the look on Need Supply, the dress is going for $130. Not bad for a full-on outfit.
