Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer for Hot City Days

A few years ago I got on board with the mineral powder foundation craze, and it’s served me well with one exception: those hot, humid, summer days. I love the stuff, but I felt like it trapped my face and made it all hot and/or just disappeared the moment I walked outside and was faced the sticky reality of 90 degree weather. I did a whole bunch of research online and went to Sephora to try out a couple different options.

spf oil free moisturizerI’m happy to say I found my hallelujah (or halleloo) summer product in Laura Mercier’s tinted SPF 20 moisturizer. It feels light, and it is super easy to use a little or a lot depending on how much coverage you want. I have fair-medium skin with olive undertones and I went with the ‘Bisque’ color, which is perfecto! At $42, it’s a little pricey, but I think it will last me all summer. If it feels a little thick, you can just mix in a bit of your spf moisturizer and make it last even longer. It comes in oil-free, regular, and illuminating versions.

Since I bought it in the store, I didn’t see this cute online deal at Sephora that includes a bunch of travel size Laura Mercier products (above), but when I need a refill I’m definitely going to try them all out. I am a straight up sucker for beauty product bundles! Those, and made for tv products.
