As some of you may know, my cousin Camille Becerra is an awesome chef. She used to own Paloma in Greenpoint, Brooklyn before a tragic fire closed it down, and I still dream about the delicious and inventive meals she used to make there. Nowadays Camille has her hand in a lot of pots, one of which is the Pop-Up Restaurant biz. Last year I went with PA Hillary to one of her The Hunger nights, and it was a really amazing evening…sitting family style, we got to chat with fun and interesting people, eat delicious food and even get a little sauced on a gorgeous summer night.
I’m excited to announce that she has started up her pop-ups again, along with former Top Chef contestant Lee Anne Wong. Check out the menu below…as most would guess from my last name, our family is hispanic, and along with Lee Anne’s asian influence, it sounds like Camille and Lee Anne have come up with some pretty amazing dishes:
$50 beans for all that? I’m in. I’ll be there from 6-9 pm with PAs Jessie, Nina and Kiki, so if you come stop by and say hello!
