I’m still struggling with this color craze that’s hit every store rack in New York. It’s hard to follow my French Would Do creed in this saturated hue market, but yesterday I came to a realization. If there’s one thing that French would always do, it’s the blazer. Last night PA Melissa was sporting a gorgeous (and color blinding) orange-red cropped jacket from Zara with an otherwise all white outfit that just screamed Cannes on a yacht. This morning, I was inspired by Clare Vivier, who blogged about her latest Zara steal, a neon pink blazer. This look is just so right – striped black & white shirt, simple white skirt, and flat sandals to round things off in a stylish FWD vibe. Scroll down a paragraph and you’ll see Clare Vivier’s new pink pochettes – plain, undyed leather envelopes with a bold stripe of that same neon pink running down the middle. Now that’s a color combo that French would do.
