Folding for the Trend – Neon Color Pops
I’m still struggling with this color craze that’s hit every store rack in New York. It’s hard to follow my French Would Do creed in this saturated hue market, but yesterday I came to a realization. If there’s one thing that French would always do, it’s the blazer. Last night PA Melissa was sporting a gorgeous (and color blinding) orange-red cropped jacket from Zara with an otherwise all white outfit that just screamed Cannes on a yacht.
This morning, I was inspired by Clare Vivier, who blogged about her latest Zara steal, a neon pink blazer. This look is just so right – striped black & white shirt, simple white skirt, and flat sandals to round things off in a stylish FWD vibe. Scroll down a paragraph and you’ll see Clare Vivier’s new pink pochettes – plain, undyed leather envelopes with a bold stripe of that same neon pink running down the middle. Now that’s a color combo that French would do.
Check out Clare Vivier’s pochettes on her website, $104 a piece. You can get the red Zara blazer for $99 in stores, but see it before you go on the Zara site.

I have to say I am DIGGING this color blocking trend! I go in to stores and I want everything I see! I looooove it. Bright colors all mixed together having fun with each other. It’s like party on your body.

A party on your body! Ha. I love it. I need more color in my life, but am often scared of bright colors…maybe this trend will help me venture out in the world of brights.
