Beautiful, Colorful, Huggable: Show Dogs by Kate Lacey

Show Dogs: A Photographic Breed Guide by Kate Lacey

There are a few things that characterize me, and one of them is my absolute love for dogs. You could be walking the world’s ugliest dog and I would still coo over it, so I’m convinced that the (evil) geniuses over at Evil Twin Publications have my number. Their book Show Dogs: A Photographic Breed Guide by Kate Lacey is an amazing colorful guide to the cutest AKC breed pups out there. I’ve never had the chance to go to the big dog show at Madison Square Garden, so this is the next best thing: a colorful romp through all the breeds that strut their stuff in the arena. The very talented Kate Lacey really does all the pups justice, they are perfectly adorable in every frame (and believe me, it’s not easy to get a good picture of your dog).

But wait, there’s more! They’ve also made an iPhone app for the book. What? YES! It’s true! Since I don’t have an iPhone, I will make Steve download it on his, so I can flip through pictures of cute dogs on the road. And then I’ll get the book for my shelf. Yay dogs!

You can find the book for $17 on the Evil Twin Publications’ website, and you can get the app on iTunes.
