20×200: Art Prints for the People!

Jen Bekman opened her teensy Lower East Side Gallery in 2003 with the goal of supporting emerging artists and budding collectors.  With a warm atmosphere, tons of great events, and frequent competitions for artists wanting to get their work into a gallery for the first time, Jen has definitely accomplished her goal of introducing new artists to gallery goers.

One of Jen’s more recent projects, 20×200, brings affordable art prints to the people in limited editions. 20×200 started with twenty dollar high-quality art prints in editions of two hundred, and has since expanded to offer larger prints in larger edition quantities. I joined the mailing list this week and I’ve already snatched up a print that makes me so happy!

Love! Doesn’t it remind you of that amazing huge beach scene print at Greenpoint’s Diamond Bar? Now I can gaze upon a summer beach at any point during the long dark winter and have it brighten up my day.  And it inspired me to join the 20×200 email list in hopes of more gems. Check out 20×200 for more great prints  and join the email list for a coupon off your first purchase!
