I love a good one-piece outfit. Whether it’s a dress, a romper, or a jumpsuit, all of them bring me serious joy. While I love clothes and shop obsessively (going for quality not quantity in 2011!), I still love an outfit that involves fewer decisions to make when I actually put it on. Throw on a pair of shoes and a maybe sweater and done. Ta da!
We know PA Tammy has an all-time favorite, but for today I am focusing on jumpsuits one could wear to fancy occasions such as parties where the theme is “fancy” and weddings. I’ve got a couple I’m attending this spring and I aim to wear a party jumpsuit to at least one. PA Kat wore an adorable jumpsuit to several fancy occasions last summer, and it looked amazing. Below are a few of my current favorites.
1. Roberto Cavalli printed silk-chiffon jumpsuit, $2,795 (yikes! but it’s amazing, no? a girl can dream). 2. French Connection venetta drape all-in-one, $198. 3. Halston Heritage silk-charmeuse jumpsuit, $355. 4. Tucker wrap-effect silk-satin jumpsuit, $460. 5. Asos tailored silk open back jumpsuit, $107.58. 6. Tibi Ipanema printed silk jumpsuit, $212.50.
Any of these beauties could be fancied up for a wedding or party. With platform sandals, a sequined clutch, and a shiny belt, you will be hot! I can barely even handle thinking about how amazing that would look.
Rompers (aka onesies, jumpsuits, playsuits, etc.) have been ubiquitous for a couple years, and now they are evolving into something even more awesome and party appropriate! I say 100 percent YES.
