Kim Kardashian Workout

Until recently I was totally in the dark about the Kardashians. I had never seen any of the tv shows and really had no idea why or how they had become so popular. Then one lazy day I found myself at home during a Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami marathon and before I knew it I was sucked in. By the end of the day, I found myself laptop in hand googling their workout routines.

The first one that comes up for Kim is from Shape Magazine and looked pretty great. It is simple, doesn’t have a bunch of random equipment and combines strength moves with cardio interval training which is my preferred workout style. I went ahead and saved the link on my iphone and have since used it at  the gym several times.

They suggest you warm up with 5 to 10 minutes of cardio, then do each move in order without resting. At the end of the last move, jump rope for a minute, then repeat the circuit up to 4 times. In order to memorize the moves so I wouldn’t have to keep checking the order on my phone, I gave each one of the exercises silly names.

If you are bored at the gym and looking for a new routine I highly recommend giving this a try. Even if the push up on the ball is totally impossible for me to do correctly! You can find the exercises here.
